The 10th Annual National Sustainable Design Expo features EPA’s P3 Award Competition. More than 10,000 people of all ages and backgrounds are expected to attend the Expo, April 26-27, 2014.
The Expo is co-located this year with the USA Science & Engineering Festival (USASEF) at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. The USASEF is the largest STEM education event in the United States.
Exhibiting alongside MASES will be approximately 350 exemplary undergraduate and graduate students from the 40 teams competing for EPA’s P3 (People, Prosperity and the Planet) Award. The P3 Award Competition was developed to enable college and university students from across the United States to design scientific, technical and policy solutions to sustainability challenges anywhere in the world. The 40 competing teams will be joined by winning teams from past years who will showcase their progress and achievements.
The Expo will be a great opportunity for attendees learn more about sustainability while networking with community members, colleagues in the field, and other friends of MASES.
