About Us
Who is MASES?
The Mid Atlantic Solar Energy Society (formerly the Potomac Region Solar Energy Association) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1994 with the purpose of furthering the development, use of, and support for solar energy and related arts, sciences, and technologies with concern for the economic, environmental, and social fabric of the region.
MASES serves the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States including Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia, as well as portions of several surrounding states.
MASES is a regional chapter of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES.org), which, in turn, is the U.S. Section of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES.org).
MASES is a membership-based organization open to all individuals, businesses and other organizations who share our overarching mission to create a truly sustainable world for all.
